Hi Everyone,
First off, I just wanted to say sorry for not adding to my blog in a very long time. Just alot of things have been going on! I feel like a chicken with it's head chopped off and don't know were to go half the time these past couple of weeks (Not meaning any violence against animals by that phrase, as I am a big animal lover :) but now that my life has calmed down a bit I am able to do what I love, writing about my experiences :).
SO I hate to start off my new entry with a complaint but if you have been reading my blog for some time than you know my temper lol. I know everyone has their bad days (Hey I hear ya girl, half the time you can not talk to me until I have like 100 cups of coffee in me first!) But there is no excuse to give attitude to a person when they are being nice to you in the first place??
So this weekend me and my DH went to Canadian Tire. We had to get a few things, one including a weed remover for his Dad. (His Dad is super nice and get's us stuff all the time so we thought it would be nice to give him something back in return he could use :) So we got it and went to the cashier. NOWWW I don't know if any of you get that bad feeling in the pit of your stomach when you see someone you know is not going to be nice or accepting but man did it hit me like a bad case of Mexican food when i saw this cashier!
The look on this cashiers face looked like she was going to kill me and the entire store lol. Now I don't like to fight unless I need to. But I prepared myself for the worst. Anyways we go to her as it was the shortest line at the time. First off, she doesn't even say anything to us when we get to her. So I simple say Hi, how are you? I then get an attitude HI. OK off to a great start...NOT! Now she rings in the weed remover, no problem. I asked her if she could please put it in a bad as It has those sharp hook things at the bottom and I didn't want it to mess up the seat of our car.
Well, she rolls her eyes at me and throws a bag at me to put it in! DH was like excuse me??? LOL. I was in shock by the way she acted. (Actually I wanted to laugh at her, she reminded me of Fat Albert by a female version LOL) No offence to anyone out there! Hey I am Phat and Fabulous and proud of it! Work it to all the women out there that got curves!)
Because we had to be somewhere else in a hurry and were pressed for time I didn't want to waste anymore time being there. (As I would have called a Manager right than and there to complain) also her negative energy was just...well...scary LOL. So I told my DH to calm down and I would deal with it later. (Going to call the Canadian Tire store and speak with a Manager about the situation after I finish this blog) Well we left, DH told her off, calling her lazy and telling her to do her job right LOL. (I love it when he gets all mad LOL he has that bad a*s look to him lol, even though he wouldn't hurt a fly)
But to end this off I just don't know why people act like this??? I know we have are bad days, but even when I am having a bad day I still have to be nice to people, because,
1.) Could lose my job
2.) Not their fault I am having a bad day
3.) Respect!
I hope you all have better experiences than I have had lately lol.
Happy Shopping Everyone! and Thanks for reading!

Hi Everyone,
A great petition was started and If you believe in the cause please sign it!
A great petition was started and If you believe in the cause please sign it!
Coupon selling is illegal in Canada and yet E-Bay allows it by letting the people say you are paying for their time and not the coupons....Please help stop this....These coupons were meant for people to save money on the items the buy and not for people to make money from taking all the coupons to sell on E-Bay.

Please Do Not Buy Coupons Online!!! Couponers Come Together! And Yes I am Ranting!
Hi Everyone,
I have been reading a lot of stories lately about people selling coupons online and how alot of people are mad because these people sell them and take all the tear pads they can find so other people can not use them and then of course go and sell them online! Now, I know some may agree with me and some may not, but I just wanted to give my two cents on it. I know usually my blog is happy go lucky but I thought I would take a more seriously look at something that I know is bothering alot of people out there, including myself.
To all the people out there who take them and sell them:
Come on! People are paying for your time to go and get them? That is how you value the price? We all know your doing your shopping anyways and while your there you just take the whole tear pads! Also, the coupons are there for people to save money not for you to take advantage of the people your trying to sell them to! You could be taking food out of someones mouth or even their children's mouth by taking those tear pads! It may only be a 1.00 off a product but that dollar off could mean a lot to a certain person or family! Then after you take all the tear pads you sell them to the same people who should have gotten them for free? Sometimes the coupon is not even worth the price your selling it for? You should all be ashamed of yourselves and I don't know how you sleep at night? I hope people get the hint and don't buy anything off of you! If you have any respect for others you will stop it!
To the people who steal the coupons out of the products and don't buy the product:
Seriously??? If you want the coupon buy the product! You make it difficult for people like me who want a product and can not purchase it because all the boxes of a product are open! Your stupidity makes life difficult for people who actually spend there hard earn money on the products they love and deserve!
To the people who are buying them or thinking of buying them online:
Please do not buy any coupons online. You are just adding to the problem and your paying for something that you should have gotten for free. By you doing this the problem will not be solved. Take a stand and do not buy them! If your tired of not getting the tear pads you want they take a stand today! Get the message out either on your twitter, facebook pages or blogs, whatever you do to get your views across to do!
For the people who take the whole tear pads just for themselves:
Don't be selfish! Please leave some for others! You know how hard it is to find good tear pad coupons so don't be a hog and make sure you take the amount you need! Not the whole pack!
For every action there is a reaction! So by not buying the coupons you will help to stop the crazy madness of people selling them online. And people will be able to enjoy the coupons they deserve for FREE, like they should always be!
Thanks for reading and I am sorry if I am ranting! I just hate people's money being wasted on things like this!

Had great cashiers at No Frills and Walmart over the weekend!
Hi Everyone,
First off I am feeling so much more better and was able to go shopping this past weekend! So happy to be back to my normal, crazy save a dollar diva self. (Husband though is getting what I had *sigh*) Hopefully he will not have it as bad as I did.
Well I went to my local No Frills over the weekend to get some deals and goodies. I was looking for the Ziploc sandwich bags (40). Which were on sale for $0.97! I had a 1.00 off coupon so this would make them FREE! I ran over like I always do (I looked like a kid running to see what they got for Christmas) and then of course I got disappointed as there were none left! I asked one of the cashiers on the floor if they had any left and she said whatever was there on the shelf was all they had. :( I was disappointed, like I got clothes instead of toys on Christmas, but I thought you can't win them all.
So me and my dear husband finished our shopping and go to the cashier to ring up our purchases. The cashier who is ringing us out is the same cashier who I talked to earlier and she had a smile on her face and handed me what else... MY ZIPLOC BAGS! I looked at her in shock and said how did you find them? She told me a customer decided last minute they didn't want them and kept them aside for me!!!! I was so grateful! :)
I love my No Frills because their cashiers are always super nice! So I got my Ziploc bags for FREE because of someones kindness! So If you have that nice cashier, you better keep being nice to them lol.
After No Frills husband and I went to Walmart. Now I have had some bad cashier moments at Walmart so when I do find some great cashiers I try and keep to the same ones. Well I found a new cashier lol! She was great, friendly, and did all my price matching with ease. She also took all my coupons and just looked at them for like 10 seconds lol. It was the fastest I ever got out of Walmart LOL.
So I got my health back and had a great shopping experience at the same time! :)
Thanks for reading and happy shopping!

So Sick! But Found Out Way to Save on Medication
Hi Everyone,
First off, I would like to say sorry for not posting as much these past couple of days. I have been really sick and have been fighting off the worst cold I have had in years! I do feel a bit better but still have a long way to go!
During the weekend DH and I went to Walmart to get some over the counter medication for me. I looked like a coupon zombie walking into Walmart., and what killed me the most is I saw deals all over the place, but didn't even have the energy to get them (You know am really sick when I ignore deals lol) I usually get Advil or Tyonle to help battle my colds and of course I did have coupons for both :). Sick not stupid LOL. But out of curiosity my husband just wanted to see the different between "The Good Brand" and the "No Name Brand" medications as I like to call them. I told him I was not about to go and change medication that has worked for me in the past. But after looking through the medications he came to the realisation that they both had the same amounts of medication in them???? Only difference... the price????
I thought he was reading the labels wrong (Or being really cheap on medication, which was not at the right time!) But I looked it over and he was right??? Now I am not a doctor (I can not even tell left from right some days) and if you have a brand of over the counter medication that works for you stick with it, or of course talk to your doctor (Sound like a commercial) but if that is the case why is one brand more $$$$ than the other? We do have the name brand medications out there that we like to use just like the name brand clothes, restaurants, products that every person likes to use, wear or eat. So I guess we do the same for over the counter medication. Now I did buy what I usually buy to help battle my cold (With the coupon I had it came to the same price as the "No Name Brand" medication anyways). But the next time I do have a cold I am going to try and see if the "No Name Brand" medication does the same??? If it does then the price is of course a big difference.
Health of course is nothing to cut cost on, if you need it to get well you get it. BUT if what you need to get well is the same and cost less why not get the other brand? Get better and at the same time save money?
Here are two great websites to get coupons on certain products to help you fight any cold.
http://www.livingwell.ca/ (Various Coupons)
http://www.advil.ca/ (Just click on any of their products and you can print a 2.00 off coupon)
Now I do have suggestions for products that I find have been working for me: For a sore throat I recommend Bentasil Cough and Throat Lozenges. They are awesome and work right away! Plus they are soft and chewy and taste great!
For a really bad cold I recommend Extra Strength TYLENOL® Complete Cold, Cough & Flu. It helps with:
Nasal Congestion
Aches, Pains & Chills
Fever
Sore Throat Pain
Dry Cough
Headache
Thins & Loosens Mucus (Daytime only)
Relieves Cough with Phlegm (Daytime only)
Runny Nose & Sneezing (Nighttime only)
So if your dealing with a really bad cold like me hope you get better soon and I hope these suggestions help! And if not...Your Lucky!!! stay away and save yourselves :).

Should you just go out for great deals??? Even If you don't really need the products?
Hi Everyone,
Well I have been looking through this weeks flyer's and I must say some really good deals this week. :) Like I usually do I have already started to make my list and get my coupons ready to go (And of course ask for backup aka my husband) But my question is this to you all?? Do I go out just for the great deals even if I don't need the items right now? Or do I wait for the next time they go on sale?
I did a big shopping last week, due to Easter and also because I don't want to be shopping every week. (As much as I love to shop, I do have a life outside shopping LOL, I know it's hard to believe) But alot of times my husband will say to me, do you really need it now? Or is it worth the gas and the time to go and get certain items just because they are on sale?? Or I will get excited because a certain item is on sale or marked down and I will make him get up early so I can get it. (Yes I am that type of person LOL) My husband fully supports my couponing and deals and helps me, but I think he would sometimes like to just sleep in and watch his soccer in peace LOL.
My answer is this:
If I can get the product for more than 60% off or FREE then it is worth my time and gas when I don't plan on going shopping at all. Even if I don't need certain items or products at the moment I will just put them in my stock pile (which by the way is getting bigger!) and when I need to use the item or product I have it already. So then I don't have to go looking for it when I need it or even at some points might have to pay full price for it, if the item is not on sale or I don't have a coupon for it at that time.
So some might think I am wasting time now, but to me I am saving time in the long run and of course saving money.I think every couponer/saver is different. Like I have said before everyone has a different life style and will go the extra mile to get the deals on the products they use and love.
:) So If you love a certain product and it is one sale and you have a coupon for it, or you can get the item for FREE??? My advice? You go for it LOL And if you need back up give me a call LOL.
Thanks for reading and Happy Shopping?

Easter Was A Success! But I Lost My Mozzarella Balls!
Hello Everyone!
Well I hope you all had a great Easter and that the Easter Bunny brought you alot of treats! (He brought me some, even though I sent him those nasty emails lol) So I ended up getting everything I needed. I manage to spend only 25.00 per kid! and got a bunch of stuff for them! I know it may seem like alot per kid, but for me that is awesome! They liked their gifts and I loved the money My husband and I saved. :)
But, I have a rant to get off my chest! I went to No Frills on Saturday (Should have stayed home, as it was packed!) and I just wanted to get some Maxwell House coffee with was on sale and some mozzarella balls, which were also on sale for $0.97!. (Can you tell we are a Italian/Portuguese house hold lol)
So I got my coffee (God knows I need it!) and then I go over to get the mozzarella balls. I see there are only 4 left, so I went over to grab the last few and then it hit me (seriously I got hit), some crazy, huge, old lady pushes me right out of the way!!!! I flew like I was hit by a quarter back on a football feld. After I came to realise what just happened, she was gone and so were my mozzarella balls! I saw her running away and the only thing I could yell at her was "THANKS HAPPY EASTER TO YOU TO!" Like I could have come up with a better come back than that!
GRRRRR Like I know we all fight for the best deals but come on!!!! People need to keep their hands to themselves. Hey if someone gets there before you, take it and move on. Not push them out of the way and almost make them break a hip!
Man, next time I am going to were some keen pads and elbow pads! Man shopping is crazy out there. But no worries I will be ready for the next time. I have a free perfume sample in my bag and I am not afraid to use it lol.
Thanks for reading and happy shopping! or should I say safe shopping?

Stock Pile for Toys and Gifts Next On My List
Hi Everyone,
I know we all have our stock piles out there. Some big, small, huge and some....well words can not express some of them out there LOL. (It's like they have there own store!) Which is awesome! So hoping to get my stock pile to that point. :)
But what some of us seem to forget is having a stock pile for toys and gifts. Now I know a lot of us have birthdays, anniversary's, weddings or the occasional retirement party we all have to attended (Wish I was retiring) and then we run around trying to find the perfect gift at the best price.
Well I have decided to start doing a stock pile for gifts and toys. I usually do this with Christmas decor stuff but I think it would be great as well to have certain things in stock so I am not running out all over the place.
After Easter is over (Still need to complete that mission) I am going to start on my next mission to find great toys and gifts at a discount price. I will look at my calender for this year and see what events are happening and start looking for great deals :)
Who knows? I might have my Christmas shopping done by June LOL. :) Now I just have to hide the gifts from my Husband LOL.
Thanks for reading and happy shopping!

Got Some Easter Deals...But My Back Up Caught a Bug!
Hello Everyone,
Well went shopping this weekend and got some nice deals for Easter. I got two cute little outfits for the two girls I am buying for and got two great shirts for the 12 year old going on 20. Also picked up some cute Eatsre bags to put their gifts in. Now I was going to go back out there on Sunday, with list in hand a ready to go...then...it happen...my back up, aka my husband got sick :(. (Tried calling the Easter Bunny to see if he would cover my husband, but I think he is ignoring my calls?)
Now, as much as I love the deals, I love my husband more! So all Sunday I was my husbands personal nurse. He does the same for me when I am really sick and I could not leave him at home. :)
So I am going to have to go out this week again and get my last minute Easter deals. Which might work out to my advantage, because this week flyers might have some better deals than what they had last week.
So we will see, but in the end, life happens and sometimes you have to put down the list, the coupons and flyers and focus on the important matters in life...FAMILY.:)
I will let you all know this week how I do after I finish my shopping!

Some Hope on Easter Deals!
Hi Everyone,
I went through the Walmart flyer and the Shoppers flyer and Walmart had some deals on kids clothes which is good, but Shoppers didn't really have anything. BUTTTT I have been looking on line to see if there are any other deals at different stores. And I have found some stores that are having sales up to 30%, 50% to 80% off children's wear, which is great! I have two girls to shop for so this will be great for them! Can not wait to pick out cute spring and summer outfits for them! Also I found some great boys tops and pants on sale for 50% off! That still look stylish and that are from a brand name store (Like I said before 12 going on 20). If it doesn't have the logo on the front, it is only consider to be worn around the house, not out in public???? (Don't know where he got this logic?) Can someone please help me on understanding logos? Half the logos on these shirts you can not even tell what they are? Is that a flag, an animal, and why is the word backwards? I guess I am to old to understand style.
Also, I am still going to go to each store just to see if I can find anything. Just because there is no deals listed on the flyer that your looking for doesn't mean the store will not have some great deals. I also still need to check out toy stores like Toys R Us. Toys R Us is a bit expensive but I am going to see if I can find any toy gems at a decent price. If Toys R Us is a no go then Walmart will usually have toys at a discount price, especially in the clearance area. Walmart has some cute small toys on sale right now which I saw in their flyer, so Walmart might be a bit better. Walmart also has certain Easter items for a 1.00 that are good for adding something small to a goody bag. But the discount store might have something better as well. Will check their still.
So tomorrow will be a big day for me, not also do I need to buy food for my weekly shopping, but I also have to get all my Easter stuff for the kids! Thank God I have back up on my shopping trip! The Easter Bunny! Oh wait he cancelled on me (probably because I complained about not getting my reminder and free samples!) so my talented and great husband will just have to back me up on this one! :)
I will tell you all my findings and hopefully savings on Monday!

Still looking for Easter deals...I need some help from the Easter Bunny!
Hi Everyone,
Well I am hoping that Walmart and Shoppers will have some Easter Deals this week, as all the other flyer's I have seen don't have any or have very little of what I am looking for (This is what I get for starting late, sorry the Easter Bunny didn't send me my email reminder).
But Home Depot had a really nice patio set on sale....(Oh sorry, ya forgot Easter, kids, budget, focus)!
If not I might have to contact the Easter Bunny personally and ask for emergency help! Or I might have to reconsider my budget. (Maybe a bit too low).
Even though I am a couponer, oh sorry excuse me, a save-a-dollar-diva :) and even though I always try and score the best deals for as little as possible I sometimes have to go into my purse (Even though it kills me, seriously I feel pain in my chest lol) and pay full price for something and not go into my purse for price matching or coupons. (This doesn't happen to often but when it does it brings tears to my eyes lol)
Now, I don't think all hope is lost, I still have to check out some other small stores and discount stores to see if there is anything else out there I missed. So my mission might turn out better than what I am thinking it is going to be.
I think there comes a time in a couponers life were you just have to pay full price for certain things. (As much as I hate it!) But this is why we all save as much money as we can, because then when we have to pay full price for something it doesn't hurt that bad, because we already saved that money to use it. :)
So when you pay full price for something don't think it is a failure, think of it as a treat, because technically your using the money you already saved to buy the things you need that are not on sale or you don't have a coupon for. We all have good weeks of saving money and some bad weeks of only saving a little. So for all of you out there, like me, crying thinking of the thought of paying full prices, don't worry, next week is another week, another sale and other deals that will be available for ours for the taking! :)
Now, I got to go and email the Easter Bunny and ask him why I didn't get my email reminder! I totally signed up for the news letter and free samples! (Still have not received nothing!)

Something cute for your little ones on Easter!
Hi Everyone,
Some of you may have already seen me post these before on Smart Canucks, but just in case you haven't I thought you would all like these. :)
We all try to find things to do with our kids on Easter (or to keep them calm in some cases lol). So why not give them a colouring project! All you need to do is print out these great colouring pages with great Easter themes, a pack of crayons and your set to go!
Also, on one of the sites you can customise the colour page to have your child's name on it! Which is even more cool! A fun art's project that costs you almost nothing! Just some ink, paper and some bright colouring crayons!
These are also good for making colouring books and added them into any goodie bag. :)
Enjoy!

A bit disappointed on the fylers this week...(Well for me at least)
Hi Everyone,
So I was able to take a look at some of my local flyer's for this week and well I am a bit disappointed... (Feel like my ice cream fell off the cone and I have to go buy a new one) I was hoping to find some great deals on Easter things (I did find some) but not as I was hoping. I still have some other flyer's I need to still go through but I think I am going to have to work just a bit extra hard on this mission. (Wish all missions could be like the Resolve one)
I have also decided to buy some Easter stuff after Easter is over and save it for next year. Usually after any major holiday a lot of seasonal items will go on sale or clearance and their prices will drop down so much, you will feel sick you paid full price for them (Or is it just because I ate to many chocolate Easter eggs?). I did this with Christmas last year, I bought wrapping paper and other Christmas items for decorating right after Christmas was over and got some great deals! Store them away and will use them for this years Christmas.
Of course you can not stock up on to much chocolates, as chocolates of course do have expire dates (If I could I would, but the chocolates would have been gone way before next Easter anyways lol) but on other things you can, like Easter decorations, Easter baskets, Easter toys etc.
I think I am also going to try some small local stores or as I like to call them "Ma and Pa Shops" to see if I can find any other great deals.
Sometimes small independent stores will have great items at half the price or more. So that small little shop you have been wanting to check out might just have that great deal your looking for. :)
I will let you all know tomorrow if I find any other great deals! (Hoping I do)
Before ending I would like to give a shout out to a fellow coupon on Smart Canucks! Thanks walkonby for the thought! :)

Easter Shopping Time!
Hi Everyone,
Well Easter is around the corner and with Easter comes Easter savings! This weekend I am going to go Easter shopping to see what types of deals and price matching I can do to save as much money as I can! I have a budget of course and I am going to try and stick with it.
I love Easter because it is the start of spring and new beginnings, which means the new fresh start of savings! I have 3 children I need to buy for (Two are young and the other is 12, but thinks his 20, kids these days) so I am thinking of getting them of course a bunch of chocolates, a toy each for the younger ones, some cologne or men's body wash kit for the other one (Like I said 12 going on 20) and a outfit each. (I know a lot! But hey I am always up for a mission) I am waiting to get this weeks flyers to see if there are any great deals this week.
I am going to as well for sure be looking at the clearance sections of certain stores to see if I can find any goodies :) You would be surprised at what great things you can find at a great price! I am hoping some cologne will be on clearance and some great toys!
I usually go to the dollar store or discount stores to see if I can find any last minute things to add as well. But I find that you can spend alot in a dollar store or discount store!
Because you think everything is a dollar and don't think it will add up that much. Then when you check out you realize you have spent more than what you have already bought! (You realize that the chocolate you bought at the discount or dollar store you could have gone to Costco and bought it in bulk for that price!) So I have to be very careful of my spending and make sure it is something that is truly a deal and not just buy it because it's "cute and yummy" and it's a dollar.
If all goes well and I save money and stick to my budget I might pick up a little something for me along the way too. (Hey a girl can not say no to chocolate, especially during Easter!) There goes my diet! Oh well I can always start when Christmas comes around...oh no wait...that is even worse, maybe Halloween I will start...wait...no Canada Day?...oh that wont work either...New Years????...Well you all get the point!
Happy Easter and Happy Shopping! I will let you all know how I do after the weekend! :)

Why did I pick this line! Just pay for it lady!
Well this weekend I went shopping and got some great price matching deals and of course got some great savings. Everything was going well and when I went to the cashier to ring in my items I told her right away I had a lot of price matches and coupons.
Which she was totally cool with. Now this cashier was nice, but looked at every price match and coupon with a fine tooth and comb! Which is fine and I don't have a problem waiting. BUT of course there has to be a loud mouth in the line behind me. She was huffing and puffing like Puff the Magic Dragon (By the way love the movie!) and of course she had to make her voice heard by saying "WHY DID I HAVE TO PICK THIS LINE! JUST PAY FOR IT LADY!"
Now usually on any give day I would have turned and told her right off, (I have no problem telling people my thoughts as I have no shame) BUT today was her lucky day because she had her child with her. And because I was raised to be a lady not an animal, I decided to not say nothing and just smile at her. (Which I think made her even more mad lol)
I just have to vent and say I am a customer and have the right to stay as long as I want when it is my turn to do my transactions, if you got a problem and are in a hurry you are more than welcome to go to another line. That is why there is more than one cashier. (She had 12 to pick from that were not busy at the time)
But I must say I am proud of myself because I was able to still get all my deals and savings and still remain the pose, great, calm save a dollar diva I am!
Don't let people get to you when they yell at you, consider it noise and just remember they are paying full price while your not! :)

YES!!! I got my Free Resolve!
Hi Everyone,
Well my shopping this weekend went well but my best score was on Friday night when I got 2 Resolve Stain Removers for Free! But of course there is always a challenge to every mission LOL. So I got to No Frills ready to go with my 2.00 off Resolve coupons I got through a trade. They were on sale at No Frills for 1.88 so I would be getting them for free and little bit more!
I fasted walked over to the area were the Resolve usually is and then there I saw it, my heart sank...NONE LEFT!!!! all of them were gone :(. Now I usually would not be upset, because I would have come back another day, but the coupons I had expired on that day!!! So I needed to use them...As I was about to to give up and leave to go to another store I looked up at the top shelf (Usually were they have boxes of products to restock them when needed to) and there they were...TWO left!!!!! I quickly got one of the stock boys to go up for me and grab the last two! When the boy handed them to me I felt like I won an award LOL. I had three coupons though for the Resolve, so I thought get two here and then I can use the coupon at the next store I was going too.
I get to the cashier of course to ring in my Resolve to get them for FREE. The cashier was really nice and pleasant. I told her right away I had the coupons and she said it was no problem. When she rang everything in and did the total she was shock! LOL. She said "well your total today is 0 which is awsome!) She then started to ask me were I got the coupons. I told her I got them through a couponers trade and also told her they were at coupon zones near the product. She then started to talk about how her mom would love to get one of those coupons. So instead of using the other coupon like I planed I gave it to her, and told her it expired today and to have her mom use it that night. She was just getting off her shift and her mom was coming to get her and she said she would have her use it on the way home!
So not also did I get my Resolve for FREE I also helped out a really nice cashier! :)
Moral of the story...Pass on the coupon love!

So many coupons to pick? Which ones are right for me?
Hi Everyone,
Like many new couponers out there I am still going through the coupon madness! As a newbie it can some times be overwhelming when you have so many coupons in your hands and don't know which ones you really need in the first place? I have decided that the coupons I need usually are for basic items:
body soap/shampoos/conditioners/hair products
bread coupons
egg coupons
snack coupons
meat/fresh produce coupons
From now on if I receive any other coupons I would usually not need I will be traded them at couponers meetings or being a coupon fairy and leaving them at various shopping places so others may use them. (We all need to spread the love, one couponers coupons could be someone else's gold ticket to great savings!)
Now if your having the same problem like me and don't know were to start this is what I always think about before clipping any coupon and the big answer:
Life Style Is Key:
I think of the products I use on a every day bases. For example, If you cook alot using a certain product or product(s) look to see if that company has any coupons or offers available. This can be done through the companies websites or just by calling them.
If you see no offers on the companies websites, a simple email is just as good. :) many companies will provided coupons to you if you would like to test out their products or if you have been buying their products for awhile.
I am also a big fan of looking through flyers and seeing the deals that are out every week in your local community paper. This will give you a general idea of what is available in deals wise in your community. Also you will be able to see the different products that are offered as well. This is also good so you can price match if a certain store has a product less than others. If your thinking of getting a coupon for a certain product but never see it in the flyers or in your local shopping areas chances are it is not a good idea to get the coupon for it.
Also, look at the coupons that are out there for the simplest products you use. If you buy the 10.00 shampoo, but never really see a coupon for it, but see coupons for other shampoo products, maybe it is time to try other products? (This is of course after you have done everything in your power to get a coupon for that product!) You never know, you might find a great product that does the same thing as the expensive brand at a cheaper price.
I know every person out there has a different life style then me, so see what coupons represent you, who you are, and your lifestyle. :) Maybe your that makeup diva who loves to save on beauty, maybe your the mom who loves to save for the bigger things in life, or maybe your just like me who is an everyday person who just likes to save a few bucks for an extra cup of coffee during the week. :) Everyone is different and that's what makes every coupon unique, just like each couponer.
Thanks for reading!

First Couponers Meeting Went Great!-March 23, 2012
Hi Everyone!
Well yesterday was a great couponers meeting in York Region! A great bunch of people! and some great coupon trading and samples! This of course was my first meeting and loved it! Don't get me wrong I was a bit nervous as I am a newbie at this and didn't know what to expect. But everyone was friendly, outgoing and just a pleasure to be around! Will for sure do it again.
For people who have never been to a couponers meeting, I highly recommend it. You get to not just trade coupons/samples but you also get some great tips and advice on how to save even more money! Sometimes 6 couponers heads are better than 1 couponers
I say don't be shy and take a chance, because I am sure if every couponer went to at least one meeting they would be hooked and love it! To all the couponers out there, keep an open mind.
If your not one of those people who likes to meet people from online, that is ok too. Maybe start a couponers meeting in your community or with your family memebers and close friends.
There are many ways to save and also enjoy doing it at the same time! Couponing doesn't have to be time consuming, because when you have a bunch of other couponers to help you, you will see the time fly by with great results!

Why Does Couponing Have A Bad Rep?-March 22, 2012
A fellow Couponer asked me this questions :"Why does couponing have such a bad rep? "
Here is what I think...
I think couponing has a bad rep because people seem to think that if you coupon your "cheap" or "poor" and that is not the case! I like saving money so the money i save and go to other things i need. Can I afford to go and buy things full price. Of course, but why if you don't have to??? I think if more people started to coupon and saw what it can do they would not judge couponers so harsh. Before I started couponing, I was one of those people who would get mad waiting in line if someone had coupons (sad to say but it is true) but now that I started I get it, and now when someone is in line with coupons I wait and smile because I know how that person thinks. Or if a couponer is getting nagged at someone I nag back at them. Now that I save so much money I will never go back!
